DLA Interiors were appointed by the University of Leeds to develop concept proposals for the relocation of the ICS Department into an unusual & partially listed building currently housing science laboratories.
The Brief was to create functional & robust spaces which would work effectively for the department while providing a contemporary feel to reflect the vibrant, fast paced media environment synonymous with the department. This formed a strong visual style which contrasted with the traditional aesthetic of the architectural envelope.

DLA Interiors were appointed to provide concept ideas for a fully updated & re-worked Entrance Foyer, reception, Student Services and Job Link areas in this heavily used, high traffic area.
Proposals include opening up unused office space to increase ease of Circulation, Backlit corian Desk, Glass Fronted Box Office Reception & Refurbished Stair case & Updated Lighting scheme enabling the mood & atmosphere to be changed at the touch of a button.
